TOC Works

Copyright and takedowns

Rights records, notices, and corrections.

TOC Works records creator rights declarations and responds to specific copyright complaints.

Effective August 26, 2026

Creator duties

Creators may publish original material, properly licensed material, verified public-domain material, and material used under licenses whose conditions they satisfy. Each uploaded image requires a rights basis, rights holder, source when applicable, attribution when required, and an express certification.

Copyright notices

Send a specific notice to info@trasaterra.com. Identify the copyrighted work, the TOC Works URL or material at issue, your contact information, your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, a statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature.

Review, removal, and counter-notices

TOC Works may temporarily disable access while reviewing a sufficiently specific notice, notify the affected creator, preserve relevant records, and restore or remove the material as the applicable process requires. A creator may respond with identification of the removed material, a good-faith statement that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, contact information, consent to the appropriate court jurisdiction, and a signature.

Repeat infringement

TOC Works may restrict or terminate creators who repeatedly publish infringing material and will not interfere with standard technical measures used to identify or protect copyrighted works.

Founding pilot

Creators choose whether to publish a saved edition and whether it is private, unlisted, or public. Public editions may appear in the catalog. TOC Works will respond to notices under this process during the pilot and may update its procedures if public third-party hosting expands.
